The Vault 13 residents are running out of drinking water and you’ve been sent out to find another Water Chip. There’s no right or wrong but some characters may be easier to play than others. Have a look at the skills and traits and see which ones fit your character. Intelligence also affects the dialogue options you have in conversations with NPCs so it’s fairly important. You can make up for this by adding at least 3 of the bonus character points into Intelligence which increases the skill points you get per level. Gifted improves all of your base stats by 1 but reduces all of your skills by 10%. Skills: Small Guns, First Aid and Lockpick

I’ll show you the character that I won the game with but you could do equally well with a character of your choosing. The pre-set characters are not very good so it’s definitely recommended that you create your own character from scratch. The game starts with character creation and this plays an important role in how you play and win the game.
